Board & Train
Our comprehensive three-week program is designed to create a strong foundation for your dog, through the perfect blend of balanced training techniques and positive reinforcement.
We tackle a wide range of challenges such as:
Enhancing impulse control
Perfecting leash manners
Addressing reactivity and aggressive behaviours
We believe that a strong training foundation helps build a stronger bond between you and your four-legged companion, and our program aims to strengthen this connection through personalized training, skilled guidance, and lots of support.
Boarding Trial
To help determine if we are the best suitable place for your pup to stay, all new boarding clients joining the Penny’s Pals family must complete a 36-hour stay.This lets us to spend a full day and night with your pup before you making a structured boarding reservation.
** May be required for some Board & Train clients depending on dogs needs *

It is suited for owner who are dealing with the challenges of owning who dogs who have reactive/aggressive behaviour, obedience issues, impulse control, socialization issues etc, but don’t have the skills or time to get their dogs training foundation started.

If your dog has trouble with people coming to your home, seeing dogs out on walks, self regulating, redirecting their frustrations, or following boundaries, these are some of the many dogs who could benefit from a board and train program.

The three week boarding & training program cost is $3350 CAD + GST.

We want all the dogs that stay with us to have a fun and enjoyable time with as minimal stress as absolutely possible, so by doing our boarding trial we not only begin to build a foundation of trust, but we get the opportunity to make sure we are the right fit for your pup before you are committed to a longer stay.

If we determine that our space is a good fit for your pet, our regular rate applies thereafter.

Structured Boarding
We offer a different kind of boarding experience for dogs who need more than what typical boarding options provide. At Penny's Pals, we understand that some dogs do better with more structure and personal attention, which is why we've designed our boarding program to meet the unique needs of these dogs.
The home environment we offer our clients helps provide a higher level of care, which promotes greater physical and mental well-being. Whether your dog needs extra exercise, behaviour help, or just some extra love, you can trust Penny's Pals to meet their individual needs.

Our structure boarding program is suited for any dog who is not able to use traditional boarding options, or whose owner’s would like the peace of mind of knowing their dogs training is being kept up with while they are away.

If you have tried leaving your dog with a friend/family member, doggie daycare, dog sitter etc, and your dog was not thriving, then we are just the place to keep your dog safe and happy the next time you are away.

Our dogs mean everything to us but it difficult to find someone we trusted to take care of all three of our dogs, especially Penny, who can be selective with other dogs and can be fearful of new people.
We realized that there weren't many boarding options that understood and respected our dogs' individual needs, and the training they've received, this inspired us to create a place that not only listens to your instructions but also follows them completely.
We want to provide a safe and nurturing environment where your dog's progress won't be undermined, so when you pick up your dog, the transition back home will be smooth for both you.

About our space:
We are proud to provide a safe & secure space for all dogs in our home. While we specialize in balanced training we welcome other methods as well, such as positive reinforcement.
Your dog will enjoy leashed walks, yard time/play time, socialization with other dogs if they enjoy that, and if there are no issues with recall, they can join us on our off-leash pack hikes on private property.
